Tire Size

Will a 15" fit without rub issues???
a lot of 15" rims will fit without rubbing. stock ones are your best bet. with aftermarket rims you'll need to watch your backspacing.

naturally, this is dependent on the size of the tires.

Thanks guys, if I go with stocks wheels what size tire can I use with no rubbing issues?
As mentioned, you're going to have to measure to be sure, since no two of these cars are the same.

There are no "stock" 15" wheels in SBP. (Small Bolt Pattern) Biggest wheel from factory was 14 x 5-1/2.
What are you trying to do? What do you have? 9" drum brakes?

I am just asking! Why do you want 15" wheels. I think 14" wheels look great on Early A bodies. If you are wanting a 15" aftermarket wheel, listen to what @RustyRatRod said. You are going to have to either measure carefully before you buy or know for sure ahead of time the combo will fit by hearing from a member who has that exact combo on the same car.

Yea guys after further thinking, I am just gonna stick to the 14" wheel,I already have themes no big deal, thanks for all the input guys :usflag: :usflag: :confederateflag: :confederateflag:

When it comes to 14s, you can (or used to be able to) change the tire heights just by changing the profiles. I imagine you know about that .
Back when I was a kid, in the 60s and 70s, it was possible to install 14 inch tires so tall, that there would be no way to install them on your Dart. For example; a G78-14, maths out to 27 inches, and I doubt you can put that on your Dart without modifications.

I still got a set of N50-14s kicking around

30 extra pounds of air in the skyjackers and yet golden

Late to the party, as usual.
I'm assuming o.p. still has 5 on 4. How wide are your 14"rims? That, and backspace, will determine what tires fit and what you can use.
As for aftermarket 15s, (there are No aftermarket 14s for sbp) I'd use 15x6 all around, and whatever tire that would fit. (205x60 fr, 225x60 rr)

huh?

i'm assuming that you're talking about steelies? because there's a fair amount of after market rims in small bolt.

Perhaps I wasn't clear. There already no 14" aftermarket sbp rims, at least none that I know of. (At least, not NEW ones. I'm sure there are some old 14"slots out there)
There are a few varieties of sbc rims in 15", but even they are drying up. Wheel vintiques used to make them, but they got bought by Coker, and I don't think the sbc's are being made any more. That leaves slots, cragars, and rallyes as about all that's left, short of a full custom rim, or Boyd's 17'
