Non-Mopar car you wish you had purchased?

69 Pontiac GTO Judge. RAM Air III 400, T10 4 speed with 4.33 gears. It was gorgeous. Orange with the purple stripe with yellow pin stripe around that. I had the money too. This was probably about 1982 ish.

For Retired Hippies Only. What are you listening to?

I’m 73, listen to 60s and classic rock. Most of the time it brings a feeling of youth back to me. Other times I get to longing for and missing those days and just turn it off or to bluegrass. I like the Eagles; Crosby, Stills and Nash, Airplane and Traffic to name a few. Best of the best...

C'mon now I know better than THAT.... And I have an M-1 dual plane coming.... And that way I can avoid the round round discussion about a head drilling fixture at least... As of 15 min ago I also now have an original 360 magnum bell housing and flywheel coming for this project.... Helping...

    disc brake dust shields

Powder coating will cost four times as much as the RPM coating. Why even use the dust shields anyway? They trap heat when you drive and only are there to keep mud, rocks and gravel off the rotors. Do you drive on muddy roads? Of course not.

For printing about 5" x 10" But my largest was a 67 Dart V8 fan shroud I had 3d printed by a 3rd party, VERY expensive. No size limitations in the design side.

63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

For freeze plugs I always used Permatex Aviation Form-A-Gasket Sealant Liquid, #80019. My little bottle is well over 30 years old, as it only takes a little bit to "git 'er dun"". I also coat one-piece seals on the outside with it. (Of course, the inside contact surface would get greased.)

    Don’t Do This

I had to do something similar on my Durango with its 360 magnum and stock kegger in order to be able to put in an aftermarket temp gauge. No way around it on that one. Yeah it reads a few degrees cold maybe, but it's consistent. I undid the nipple for the heater hose and screwed in a tee there.

That's what I'm doing. I reverse engineer the part then either 3d print it myself or outsource it to print in metals, Stainless or Aluminum

    Voltage Regulator

Not really. The alt gauge measures Amps The voltage regulator regulates the voltage going into the battery based on the load on the alternator. So if you have a high load like the lights are on. The ammeter will read discharge then with the engine running the ammeter will read in the middle...

    OBD Scanner

Probably best to go to the local parts store and see what they have. I bought a Innova from Auto Zone. It does what I need done. Lots of different models so check out which one does transmissions. Just a couple hundred dollars.

    Soĺ Cal fires

Thank you for making my point! Santa Ana winds don't care and not even a 6 lane freeway for a fire break works in those kinds of conditions. There are absolutely NO "fuel management" projects that are going to do a damn thing in the face of 70+ mph winds that are aligned with topography. None...

Talk me into or out of Holley Terminator X

Ding, ding, ding....correct! This is why TBI did not last all that long on OEM engines. Couldn't get to PFI fast enough! Getting air distribution on an intake is hard enough. Getting the wet fuel flow in addition to the airflow is a whole 'nother world of development. So if you can get the...
