67 Dart Gt 383 Fender Tag Decoding Help

you know about the GTS registry? http://www.gtsregistry.net/www.gtsregistry.com/index.html Repost a photo of your fender tag. Many times a code that does not come up on the web sites can be decoded by matching another fender tag from members like me with one family cars (ie 100% known history)...

    I’m getting old

I went back to school at age 27, not gonna lie, it was a little intimidating being back after 10 years, but I soon realized that real world experience was far more valuable than book smarts. I was in the top 5 of my class with a 3.08 GPA, better grades than people who were straight out of high...

    AMD Floor pan

I've got one each of the long and short full AMD floor pans out in my shop. I know for certain that the long one is for my Duster and the short one is for my wife's 69 Dart conv. The short one has another section that goes with it to complete the rear footwell area. I can go out and measure them...

440 Need help figuring out what cam is installed

You’re overthinking it. “Usually”, the numbers are on the back of the cam(on Comp stuff from the last 20 years or so). Fwiw, I found the original Torker 440 to be a very good hot street intake. Great throttle response and mid-range power.

We have a Shindaiwa that we bought new in 2006 or 2007, don't recall the model # at the moment, but it's been a damn good machine. We bought it when we had a piece of lakefront cottage property that we were intending to develop as a retirement home for ourselves. It was about 2 acres of solid...

[WANTED] I want to buy custom 1973-76 front disk rotors redrilled to small bolt pattern 7/16 lugs

440 Need help figuring out what cam is installed

I did a search and Comp Cams puts ID numbers on the end of the cam. I'm going to pull the front cover and see if that's accurate or not. From reading other posts it seems important to know this info, or am I over thinking it?

    Magnet Marelli ?

I will tell you this. You HAVE heard of Yugo's, right? The running gear was basically made from worn out Fiat 128 tooling that F sold to Y Terrible. and back BEFORE that, the old Fiat electrical systems had a WORSE reputation than the infamous "don't let the smoke out" British...

Replacement 68 340 four speed cams

In 68 I had a Honda 305 Super Hawk. One night I wanted to see how fast it would go, Rt 3 had just been four laned with a long straight stretch.
