The font on the box (using the first and last letter of both words) looks so familiar, but I can't put my finger on it

When Fiat bought Chrysler they tried to rebrand the replacement parts division. I had a friend that worked for them for a while as a sales and distribution rep. It didn't last long as Chrysler changed hands again.

I will tell you this. You HAVE heard of Yugo's, right? The running gear was basically made from worn out Fiat 128 tooling that F sold to Y Terrible.

and back BEFORE that, the old Fiat electrical systems had a WORSE reputation than the infamous "don't let the smoke out" British electrics---Lucas. Marelli was far far worse. I sure hope they have improved

Magneti Marelli, a manufacturer of original equipment manufacture (OEM) and aftermarket parts, was co-founded by Fiat and Marelli over 100 years ago. In 1967, it became a full subsidiary of Fiat. When Chrysler was taken over by Fiat to form FCA, there was consideration of merging Mopar under Magneti Marelli and dropping the Mopar brand. Fortunately, wiser minds prevailed and kept Mopar as is, while marketing the Magneti Marelli parts through Mopar for Chrysler and other applications. In 2018, Magnetti Marelli was sold by FCA to a Japanese company which the combined companies then became Marelli. It continues to provide OEM and aftermarket parts.

Magneti Marelli does own Weber, and Weber has made carburetors and castings for the Edelbrock Carter-based carburetors. Weber was taken over by Fiat in the 50s, and was placed under Magneti Marelli.
