im trying to get my 904 shifting correctly but it is missing linkage so should i go with lokar kit or something else i am a novice at this type of thing i can change parts but im no mechanic also working on a tight budget any points would be helpful i have already learned alot just reading...

i have found out my dart doesnt have a kickdown linkage so i am trying to see if anyone has tried the budget kickdown cable offered on ebay as it is about less than half of other kits i looked at trying to save where i can

i think my trans is a 904 according to bolt pattern on pan and it shifts 1st to 3rd in less than 50 feet i cant find a modulator valve on this unit any ideas
