routing shift cable

bought lokar kd cable any ideas before i start routing this cable [problems solutions correct way] all ideas are welcome as is this is my first install besides throttle cable [318 904 68 dart]

I install the trans end first as it bolts to one of the extension housing bolts then has to loop forward. Loop it up to the carb. making sure it isn't in an area that something might pinch it and hook it up with what ever brackets you need. Pretty simple job.
