    426 Hemi into a 67 68 or 9 Notchback Cuda

You should contact Hemi Denny at HDK suspension. He has built many 67-76 Hemi A-bodies that are top-shelf. His current driver has an all-aluminum powertrain and weighs less than a Duster 340.

The triangle ties the top of the roll cage to the front and rear suspension. Look at all Butler built A-bodies from that era (Billy the Kid etc). They are all built the same.

    1969 Dodge Dart Engine Stutter

Thanks for your patience. At several places in your answers and explanations you use the term "FIELD". "alternator field", "alternator field circuit ", "VR/field circuit", "field terminal", "field wiring", "field current draw", ""full field" test, "temporary field wire". What is this "FIELD"...

    California Flash

Too bad times have changed so much...as well as we have gotten older. I see many things that we could have put to good use. Drag radials, Cal Tracs, 512's that can be made to look like a stock 383, Trick Flow cylinder heads etc. etc......

    Starting a BB Duster project

Andy, One of their tricks is to fully rollerize all of the pivot points (bushings) in the suspension system so that when you nail it, it rocks right back and plants itself. Witness the accompanying photo of the Duster on bias plies lifting the front wheels. Supposedly stock 340 runs 10's.

The only thing that is not 100% is that we still have to mount the new slicks (they are here). Carlisle is a go and there should be a sizable contingent there as it is the 50th anniversary of Pro-Stock. Hotels are already reserved. Butch is coming too!

Looking for advice, BB headers vs. HP manifolds

My brother Denny of HDK has a 383 (formerly 6-cyl) Duster and used TTi headers by changing the #7 tube only. Don't know why TTi doesn't just make them all this way. For access these were made with the engine/trans/K-frame outside of the car. I believe that he may have made a slight change of...

Despite having a fresh 572 Hemi in the car, Denny collaborated with Butch to build a genuine 500" Butch Leal Pro-Stock Hemi for the Flash. They just spent a week in Troy, MI at Steve Atwell's new shop (formerly Dave Kanner's) to get the job done. Just boys having fun: L-R; Ted Spehar, Denny...
