    Those look like 9-inch drum brakes, note the top ball joint boss is twisted so I would say 9-inch brakes.

    Save those bumper overrides (or whatever they call them) they were an option.

    At some point they also put a partial VIN on the right (passenger) side of the block towards the rear of the block, stamped into a machine pad. This is not on the earlier engines.

    The stamping on the block by the alternator bracket mount will tell you if the block was a 225 or a 198 originally. Clean the area off and see if you can read it.

    Bad ground somewhere, weird things like this are almost always bad grounds. Could also be a headlight bulb with a filament shorted to the other side.

    Not in recent years my RA kind of prevents that, but I used to go every year, the same for the Garlits Museum Mopar show, both in November.

    The B&B also has the centrifugal effect (the harder you rev it the harder it grabs) that most diaphragm clutches don't, the same applies to long style clutches Ford used back in the day.

In the 63 catalog they are the same for flywheel or torque converter they do list 2 different ones, but I suspect that is for gear reduction starter or non-gear reduction starter. 2121196 w/o the letter R and 2121195 with the letter...

    They still do I saw an email recently about their support for the trades. While there are somethings, I won't buy from them they have come a long way with quality, they will never match say Snap On but some of their stuff today is as good as Craftsman.

    I don't think the diff gears are available anymore in the aftermarket, I will look up the original part numbers for you tomorrow and you can check with a couple of parts dealers that have NOS stock and maybe they might have them.
