I'm good on the years of SBP and BBP. I should have articulated what I needed better. Basically, I was wanting to know if SBP 8.75's had 7/16' or 1/2" studs. Not so much a bolt pattern size question but a stud question.

The best thing to do for us right now is probably to call Jim at Racer Brown and tell him my compression, gear, intake and carb, and intentions. We'll keep the heads on but replace the cam and lifters when the intake goes on. Dual point distributor as well

Are all 5x4" bolt pattern wheels for 7/16" wheel studs? Were A-body 8-3/4's 1/2" or 7/16" with the 5x4 pattern? Was the year they went to 1/2" when they changed to the 8-1/4 in 1973?

I would fully assume that the new owner would put new bearings on these before installing.

It's tough with Mopars except for the 71+ B-bodies. I have even though about two smaller ones, wet intercoolers, .. my 'druthers is air to air.

Not an a-body but I’ve got a 408 with water/methanol injection activated by a boost reference switch. E-bodies don’t have a lot of room either. Eventually I want to do twin turbos so going to need and intercooler then!

I got one for a 383 but I guess it was the same as the 340 carb. I figured that and a Racer brown or E4. I hope to find a cam that will work with the pistons that are in it. That also depends on if I can get a thinner head gasket (MLS?) to bring the compression up that much more. I'm thinking...

@JDMopar The hydraulic rollers intrigue me. I have two LA's that have bushed lifter bores. Needless to say, I like 'em. I wasn't even considering hydraulic rollers with the 273. Are the 273 lifter bores plagued with inconsistent chamfer like the other LA's? What lifters did you use?

@413 Rest of the combo is factory 904 and will be a 3.21 when the 8-1/4 goes in.

Would it seem logical that what's good for the LD340 is good for the D48 or LD4B in regards to the Direct Connection plenum mods? I don't know the exact spec but I'm talking about the square notch. For those that care: 1965 273 2-bbl. Changing to dual point distributor, D4B, Carter AVS 4638SA...
