The door panels look great Ulf! Are you planning on adding the white reflector strip to the front door stainless trim? By the way, what type of tape did you use to secure the plastic?

    1965 Dodge Dart Charger

I've been researching this as well. Here's a 1964 Chrysler video that explains some of this. It appears they use sealer when putting back in the glass. Look at the 13:00 minute mark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY4kgO8cyDU Here's another video from 1975 that goes more into depth...

    1965 Dodge Dart Charger

The headliner looks great, kudos to the installer! I had a new one put on my 64 Dart but they didn't tuck it in around the back glass like yours. I'm thinking of having it redone. Can you tell me where you got your headliner from?

    1965 Dodge Dart Charger

Hi Ulf, quick question. I noticed you took apart your vent windows and put in new seals. I'm thinking of doing the same on my 64 dart. Looks like you had to remove some rivets to remove the old seals. Was it a very tough job? My seals are pretty good but I have already rechromed all the vent...

    Blue 64 Dart GT

Hey Dallas, thanks for the reply and the encouragement! I was hoping to be further along by now but with a new baby there are somethings more important :) That's about the clearest advice I've heard on the back glass sealing. I'm sure I can find the part number. Do you like to seal things...

    Blue 64 Dart GT

Here's a few more pictures of progress (slowly but surely) on the dart. Next up is getting the back glass in. I want to make sure to get it sealed properly (even though the car probably wont see much rain) so I've been reading on here on how best to do it. I like how the headlight rings...

    getting pissed off!

Here's some information that might help. I am using the limiter which I purchased from RTE on my 64 dart. They are no longer in business so I'm not sure what would be the correct one to use instead. The picture from ebay looks similar to the one I used but not exact. You might call D & M...

64 Dart GT decklid trim piece needed

Hello, I'm putting back together my car and am needing the part shown in the picture below. I unfortunately broke a stud on my rechromed piece tonight. That's only $200 down the drain (ouch). I have another one but it's pitted pretty bad so it wouldn't be a good piece to rechome. Just...

    Bent Antenna?

I'm putting back together my 64 dart and have always noticed that the antenna looks bent at a slight angle at the base. Just wondering if this is correct or if I should try bending it back. I'm a little worried about doing more damage trying to bend it back. If any one has experience with...

    Blue 64 Dart GT

Starting to work on the Dart a little more after a long winter. I picked up some NOS antenna bezels (first pic). Need to figure out a way to straighten out my antenna. Might be a good reason to buy a vise for my shop. Also, I need to disassemble vent window for replating. If anyone has any...

    1965 Dodge Dart Charger

I believe I got mine from The Right Stuff (getdiscbrakes.com/transmission-vacuum/transmission-cooler-lines). I talked to Curtis. There's also inline tube. I'd heard that the right stuff lines fit better.
