Early-A Vent window disassembly

I'm needing to disassemble the vent window for my 64 dart so I can send the pieces of to get replated. From the exploded diagram it looks like I need to remove the pin from the handle assembly shown below. Any suggestions on how to do this or advice on the correct approach would be much appreciated!

Yeah, put it in an old film canister or pill bottle. Something much bigger than the part.
