These extreme energy cams sound pretty good to me. Comp told me that i would have to buy break-in springs to start it. I have 26120 bee hive springs that i'm going to keep on the victor heads. The springs are able to run with that cam. Which heads are you guys running on those motors...

I may just go with comp for that reason. Not the best cam for my combo but i think it will do the job, and the price is right.

Seriously; i am more than sure that most of the questions on the forms could be answered buy reading or phoning companies.I thought asking people there opinion on subjects was the whole idea with this board. Why would any one pay this board if they can just go read it some where else.......Rick......

    Ramp speed?

Thanks fellas,i can put up with the noise running straight 2inch headers. I don't think i'll hear it.I did have it backwards. That's a good idea comparing it at .050-.200. I will try and find out on this voodoo-288/296 cam. Then compare it to the XS290S cam for ramp speed. Thanks a lot; Rick.

    Question about main/rod/cam bearings

I have to do my own 440 as well and found some good info on the 440 source site. I have not read it all yet, but the little i did was informative. Rick.

    Ramp speed?

Does anyone know if the difference between advertised duration and duration@ 0.050 equals the ramp speed? That being the greater the difference the faster it ramps. Does that make since, or did i just make it up. Thanks; Rick

I prefer the 360 myself, it's an under rated engine. Plentiful, with lots of potential. I don't know for sure, but there's not a whole lot the 340 can do that the 360 can't. That's the small block i would use. There all over the place, wrecking yards, back yards, farm fields. 340's i'm sure are the...

I picked up the dart in 2011. It came from the west coast area. It's not rust free but it's in good shape. There's no interior or working lights, just a race car.Slowly getting it where i want it to be. When i break something ,that tends to slow things down a lot. Missed racing this last year...

My aunt and uncle lived in Thompson for years, they have retired and live in Carberry now. We both liked Winkler, don't know why. It's just as flat as any where else. I would be happy to have a street car that goes that fast. Going 10s just means your money flies faster out of your wallet.lol...

Kim, good to hear from you again.I finally got it together, ha ha and it worked. I wreaked the rear end and spun first gear in the tranny so its time to up grade.
