Speedo is doing some funny sh#%%^t. In drive goes to max speed in reverse 8-15 mph. Unhooked cable at tranny and hooked it up to a drill, speedo read 5-8 mph. Speedo gear in tranny screwed or is it the speedo itself. Thanks in advance for any help.:wack:

Was going through super front end kit for my 68 dart gts. Got to comparing idler arms and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

What would cause the steering column to move in and out about an inch? Not out of the steering box but just below the rag joint in that 2.5-3" collar. Is the a clip or stop somewhere? 1968 GTS no power steering. Thanks in advance.

Any way too tell what type auto trans you have with it in the car? Car is a 68 GTS. Also probably going to be changing motor from late 71 to a 73 difference being steel to cast crank. Anything else to change besides converter? 71 badly spun bearing crank not salvagable. Found a nice standard 73...

340 spun bearing took out the crank. Block cracked in 3 cylinders already has 1 sleeve in it. Need to start from scratch if I were to go the 360 route for a doner what years were best and what models were they in? :read2:
