Well i can get a scat crank for 300 and id like to 10.5.1 - 11.1 so could use stock rods but im going to dee what i can find and ill see what i can do for pistons would would voodoo cam 60405 work id like to stay with the voodoo if i could??

Well i would be open to suggestions i just want to do it right the first time. How will the stock rods holdup or do i need better?

ok things have changed im now going to stroke it and would like to use same cam,heads but will i be able to use the pistons i have or do i need to sell them along with the balanced crank i have a guy building my trans right now in Co and it will be pretty stout any suggestions on this stroker...

The pistons i dont want to change cause i bouht the short block the way it is but everything else i am open to and i do want it on the mean side but if i wanted to drive it a half hour fown the freeway to work i could and take family to dinner on weekends etc

edelbrock intake 7186 excellent shape bought it for a build i was going to do couple years back and ended up selling everything and moving all threads are good and intake is clean it is for a 383 $100 plus shipping or might trade for small block parts. located in Northern California

so all in all a a set of J,X,587, or any other head ported with big valves etc will not match a factory set of eddies reason i asked is you can find these heads with the work done all day long for alot cheaper then the eddeies
