hadnt really dug into the engine yet. the broken piece is MIA so im hoping it didnt fall in with my cam. Around the stud area I was seeing metal dust/chips so im gunna have to tear it down and clean. im just hoping nothing else is damaged. Definately wouldnt recommend those for anything.

I run Pump E85 from the same store (sheetz) I have a 15 gallon cell and fill up 2 or 3 race fuel cans usually every visit. Ran the same with both the summer and winter mix. Early spring it was $1.85....now (summer mix) its $3.09. Same results either way. It's not horrible just a brain scratcher.

Anyone have pics of their heat riser block off or deletes? I'd like to get rid of that. If at all possible I'd really like to cut it off and weld a plate or something of that sort.

Actually that is my plans! I have a 2bbl intake that I'm dead set on using. I have a hard on for the holley 2300 sniper so I'm planning on going that route. I was more less wanting to do a low budget build with as much factor bolt on parts....stuff I can find in a salvage yard.
