Worst case of road rage I've seen.

Looks to me like a bad case of road aggression mentality. My guess is that the maniac thought the 'good guy' brake-checked him (I believe I heard something about him briefly applying his brakes when the maniac was behind him). The guy must have a real hair-trigger to go off like that...

What was your first concert ?

I was 14 in the summer of 1966, when I visited my cousin in San Jose, CA. We went to a concert / dance at a local auditorium. Don't remember for sure what band was playing, but it might have been an early Creedence......

    Darrell Alderman, Englistown '90

Ted was probably referring to me, Mike...... In hindsight, this was probably a bad place to bring up the article I posted. Woodchip was merely showing a memento he was proud of, and I rained on his parade. Sorry, Woodchip. And Ted. I didn't judge. The judicial system did that.

Wild Times - They Live Among Us

Yeah, we had similar excitement on occasion when we lived in North O.C. (City of Orange). Possums in the garage caused a big stink. Drove them down the 91 a ways..... Ducks in the pool - once maybe. Mostly it was they coyotes. They would roam on the Santa Ana river bottom, then come into the...

Unbelievable! Watch! 5 Who Volunteered To Stand Under An Atomic Test Blast

I saw that report on 30 Rock last night. They said the cameraman is the only one still alive, but that the others all lived to their 70's and 80's....

    The "NEW" GM

IMO, the report is missing the point. GM saw an opportunity - to sell a vast number of vehicles to a huge emerging market. Somebody was going to be selling a lot of cars over there, why not GM? How is this any different than Honda, Toyota et al selling their vehicles in the U.S. market and...

    Total firetruckin bullshit!

In most circumstances, if I saw a new neighbor that needed a 'talkin' to'...I would talk to them in a nice, friendly way, to tell them what kind of neighborhood I live in, and how I would expect them to act might be a good idea to have another neighbor along to agree) In your case though, I...

Need advice from the early A-body gurus....

It has some type of stock exhaust manifolds, along with Flowmasters. The heater box has been modified to fit around the distributor. I'll check into that Dart wagon - Magnum build. Thanks.

Need advice from the early A-body gurus....

(Tried 'search' bu I've never been real good at the method) Considering the purchase of an early ('60-'62) A-Body So far, I've got lots of pics, but none very close up, and no pics of the interior or any of the underbody. Owner's still working on that for me. - Vehicle was originally a /six...

Have you had a member look at a car on your behalf?

I've been on both sides of that coin.... To have another member look at a vehicle for you, you have to have confidence in that member. If you do not know him/her, examine some of their posts on the forum. do they seem knowledgeable. I for one, wouldn't volunteer at this stage, on this forum...

    Nice 66 Dart on e Bay.....NOT !!!!!!!!!!

One thing I've noticed - some E-bay and CL sellers think a bunch of "wuz gonna......."'s make the vehicle worth more. As in "I wuz gonna put in a hipo 383 with headers, but I ran out of money. You can do it real easy...."

    Missing Child

Lots of kids go missing. you only hear of a few of them. I was living in Gardena, CA in December, 1980 when the little 6-yr. old girl living next door disappeared. She's never been found. She'd be 36 yrs old today.

So where are these 500, 1966 Barracudas?

OK....got a reply from my B.I.L...... "The wrecked 0 AS car in the pictures you sent was my first car. My partner Dale crashed it in our first race. So where are these 500, 1966 Barracudas?

My brother-in-law did some S.C.C.A. racing back in '65 and '66, and one of his cars was a Barracuda. From what I remember, it was originally a Chrysler-supported Trans-Am vehicle, that was sold off when the TA team got new vehicles for the next season. They (BIL's team) raced it primarily on the...

    Feeling pretty proud!

Although I have seen them (RHD vehicles) in person, I guess I haven't been paying attention. I always assumed the pedals were a mirror image, with the accelerator pedal being on the inside. Kinda funny to find out it's not. Seems to me on very small cars there could be a problem with wheelhouse...

    Hunting Bombers

I was down in Orange County at the end of February / early March when we saw in the OC Register that the B-17 was supposed to be doing some flyovers and landing around 11:00AM one Saturday. Went down and sat in the park-and-ride lot across the freeway...nothing. Drove over to the museum to find...

    1965 Dodge Dart 270 wagon

Nice wagon! I remember seeing the pics of when it was in Arizona..... FYI those wheel covers you have on it are from a Corvair - around '61/'62... Way back in 1971 or so, I owned a '65 Dart 270 2-door sedan, slant six, also with the factory A/C setup that you have. Love those little wagons...
