I put Doug's in my Demon with the power steering box. It's a *****, manual steering is much easier.

The A/C motor was used on 65-72 A body and 66-70 B body cars from what I researched.

My 72 Demon is a 3 bolt, I think it changed in 73. I bought a bunch of a/c parts from a guy who had a 72 Duster he was restoring. I had 3 a/c heater boxes date coded 72 at one time and all were 3 bolt motors. If you have a 4-bolt motor, don't think it's a 72 box. I can get to the USPS tomorrow...

Got a 72 a/c box I'm parting out from a Duster.

First time I put my RPM on my 340 I didn't get enough RTV to fill the china walls. Yes it's a big gap, that's why I just used the cork gaskets there. Cleaned the area real good and put the RTV on the wall and bottom side of gaskets and let sit over night. That way they won't squirt out and hold...

Finally got my 340 running after a near total rebuild. At least 50-60% new AMD sheet metal. Also just put the new US Wheels and Hankook tires on. I was going for the chrome rallye but like the look of the painted as well. Might not even put trim rings on them.

Yeah, just picked up my power steering box from them today. They can rebuild pumps and gear boxes or sell you the parts to do so. Great people, good luck.

I seen that car at Mecum last Thursday and it blew me away with a hitch bolted to the back. That car needs a hell of a lot of work and way over priced but what I want to know is, what was he pulling with that E-body Hemi? :rofl:

I use cork, RTV in down on the block and let it set up overnight. Then RTV the top of cork and I lightly put some on intake and don't forget the corners.

Had this harness laying around from some parts I got a few years back. Looks like some kind of a neutral safety switch but looking on line, I can’t find anything like it. No big deal, just wondering. Thanks FABO members

Got the same problem with stainless lines going into the rear center distribution block. Should have went back to stock steel. The parts are all Inline as well, may try a Dorman H86608 rear flex hose and block from them or copper flare gaskets. Thanks for the info members.

Called Superformance Products today (super nice people) and they gave me good advice. No RTV glue or anything just maybe some wheel bearing grease, silicone grease to allow to align bolt holes. He said he has a race car with a badly pitted cover and it still sealed with this gasket. My first...

Those bolts didn’t bottom out. I for sure checked that out and torqued properly. The leak was left side towards the top but I will check again. Thanks

Had a gasket leak after using a paper gasket so I bought both timing chain and water pump gaskets from Superformance Products. These are their MP-15 rubberized gaskets that are supposed to be reusable. Guess I can't use RTV or anything like it. Heard you just use silicone grease. Think I may...
