Wondering about this myself.

I wasn't sure about removing the valve cover bolt bosses. I just ordered longer carbides so I will do that. I already got a set of ARP valve cover studs, so I won't have to worry about that part.

Here is what I have done so far on my 920s for my 273. I matched the intake and exhaust ports to my gaskets and smoothed the sharp edges of the spark plug bosses on one head. I plan on rolling the guide/roof of the ex. and smoothing the humps in the roof out the smoothing the whole port and bowl...

I wish my floor pans were that nice. I had to work on them all last summer to get rid of the rust. Manual will be a nice upgrade.

Bag Balm works good on hands too. I put it on my hands then put socks over them as it is greasy. After washing hands in the morning they are much better.

From what I have read and found the Isky E4 grind is the closest solid cam to the factory 4bbl 273 cam. Lift is the same, but with a little more duration. Toolmanmike post about his Isky E4 in his 273.

So after playing around, if I put my finger over the top of the guide and pull out the valve at a good speed they make a pretty loud pop. I may not do anything to them right away now. I talked to a machine shop I have used in the past on the AL head in my daily driver and they said they don't do...

I recently bought a set of 920 heads for my 273. I have notice there to be more play with the valves in the guides then I feel comfortable with. I noticed some of the guides has rings in them, I assume knurling? I plan on doing gasket matching and some other work on the ports and bowls myself...

I am swapping in a set 920s myself on my 273. Just got them and boy are the ports going to need a gasket match to match my intake.

Will this work on an A100? If you did not mind sending me dimensions I can check myself.

Got my daily driver fixed today so I hope to get some thing done on it Thanksgiving week.

Mine are clearanced at the intake runners as well. I haven't got around to installing them yet though.

Got mine through Auto zone and it has the extra boss as well. I don't mind the larger bypass though as I have a ld4b to put on later and it has the larger bypass as well. For now I am using a brass reducer that has a hex head so I can remove it easily later.

What casting are the cylinder heads? Will be interested in them if they are what I need.

That Fargo has a Hemi in it as well, a 392 iirc. Very nice truck.

I found out the hard way about needing sealer on the header bolts as well. I had coolant running down the exhaust and though I had a cracked head at first.
