    I think the rule is 1.5 teeth engagement at all time. You can use any tpi that is available for the bandsaw. The problem becomes overloading the motor. The 24 tpi takes a smaller bite than a 11 tpi blade.

    I found a winshield gasket listed on ebay and the atlas chry website listed to fit the convertibles. The part number is 706-589 with the chrome strip listed as 801-332. They are listed with no id to manufacturer. The cost is a bit high at 221 for the set. Has anyone on here had any experiaence...

    which TIG welder

    I bought a syncrowave 180 miller off ebay for less than a 1000. Had less than 100 hours showing on the meter. Works great for aluminum up to about 3/16. The duty cycle is not that great if welding for long periods; however, it does great for a home shop.
