Hey guys, been awhile. I've still got the Duster, and I'm looking at (finally) starting the restomod process by the end of the year. I'm still hung up on transmission options. I'm interested in getting an AX15 behind the Slant. Has anyone done this? Who makes an adapter for this if they have...

    Eaton M90 or Eaton M112?

Ok, so now that I'm getting my 74 Duster back, I plan on going forward with the supercharged Slant 6 (225 Super Six). I've got most of the important parts figured out, such as the lower pulley (Slanty's can use Chevy 3 bolt crank pulleys), I've got a manifold design going, and the location of...

They say if you love something...

They say if you love something to let it go. If it comes back, it was meant to be. Last year, I had to let my 74 Duster with her 225 Super Six go. Today, the current owner contacted me and offered to sell her back to me. I have my baby back.

    74 Stock Disc Brake Swap

Long time no see fellas! happy to be back. So I'm busy gathering prices and parts to do a front disc swap on my 74 Duster 225 (she's a 4 corner drum car). I was looking at rotors, and so far I've not seen a bolt pattern listed. Currently, my car has 5x4.25, with adapters that change it to 5x5...

    Transmission Options

Well, a few weeks ago, my 74 Duster (slant 6, A904, 7.25 rear) broke its flexplate and damaged the torque converter. Since i've begun tear down to a shell to do a basic resto-mod, I've also decided to part ways with the 3 speed auto. I want to get a 4 speed overdrive or 5 speed standard. Plans...

    Front Disc and Knuckle/Spindle

Hello everyone, its been awhile! So very recently, my 74 Duster broke a right front wheel bearing! So, I was wondering, since its drums on the front, I'd like to convert it to front disc. Now I have heard I can use knuckles from a 75 Volare/valiant. Any truth to this? And can I use the same...

    T5 swap to a 225 Slant 6?

Ok, so I've seen a lot of guys run this swap of small and big block engines in A Bodies, but I've yet to find any info on someone doing this to a Slant 6.... I've bot the basic ideas covered (input splines, input shaft bushing, cross member mod, driveshaft yoke, etch) Can't seem to find a bell...

    Front Strut Conversion?

Ok, so I wanted to talk about A body front suspension. We've got a torsion bar set up, with the shock mounted to the lower a arm and inner fender. I was toying with the idea of removing the torsion bars when I do the frame rail repairs and installing a custom coil over in place of each shock...

    Rear Axle Identification

While doing some research on my 74 Duster, I wanted to see what kind of rear axle I had. I came across this little quick reference gem, so I thought I'd share it here, in case anyone (like myself) is new to old Mopars Hope it helps!

    Help with a part ID?

So in my quest of fixing my 74 Dusters electric problems, I noticed this part is very rusted. The internals are good, but for safety and other obvious reasons, I want to replace it. But I have no idea what it is. Location is on the drivers wheel well near the firewall

Looking for a new/used Instrument Cluster

As the title says, I'm in need of an instrument cluster. Water damage fried mine (the cars previous owner let her sit for 13 years outside). I can't seem to find a replacement, sans some $600 aftermarket setups. I'd love to go aftermarket, but I'm unfamiliar with how most of this old car works...
