    USPS Fail

Not to change the subject, but I also have a 1970 Dart and I need the windshield wiper mechanisms. Would this person happen to have any? Hope the claim comes out positive, isn't that why we insure packages?

    225 to 235

I have a magazine form the 60s that says they bored a slant six .130 over, so .080 would not be out of the question. There is a lot of metal between the cylinder wall and water jackets, which is also one of the reasons they last so long. Mine is bored .040 over which works out to just under 230...

    Fastest/ most powerful slant six?

Great info, thanks. As I said in my other post, I have information where the tech guys experimented by using different lengths of radiator hose (or something similar) to find the optimum length for the hyper pak manifold in 1960-61. The numbers I have seen for hp are 145 for the 170CI and 197...

    Fastest/ most powerful slant six?

I am thinking the long runner, aka hyper pak manifold, was the new technology of the day and a cheaper way of creating high air flow rather than turbo charging. I have articles and photos where they actually used different lengths of radiator hose to find the optimum length for best air flow -...

    Fastest/ most powerful slant six?

I have been toying with the idea of a turbo/fuel inj slant six for years. I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the hp figures listed here. Has anyone sever seen studies done on intake runner length? I had been thinking of combining the higher flow of a turbo-fed engine with the long runners...

    1974 Plymouth Duster

My first car was a Duster also - a 1975, got it cheap from a dealer because one of his drivers backed into the hood with their flat-bed truck. Owned it for about 10 years, put a custom silver/maroon paint job on it at my uncle's body shop. I still miss that car!!

I owned a stock 1961 Valiant for about 15 years - cool lines, but took a little getting used to! I loved the push-button automatic!

Hi - a little about me

These are my projects: 1) 1954 Chrysler New Yorker, 331 Hemi; this will be my custom "lead sled." I found these really cool tail lights in a box, no idea how I got them. I am working on frenching them in using the fabbed piece shown (not complete yet). I also plan to french the headlights, and...
