    Dougs Headers

Hello, have a 66 GT Dart - 4 speed floor, manual steering, 340 engine ( rebuilding now ). Has anyone used Doug header # D450-B ( sold for 63 to 66 darts ) Wonder if this design was used in the old D-Darts. Just concerned about fit. Any info would help. Thanks

    3500 RPM runs flat

Hi 318 ,Fires right up, rough idle, like it has a mild cam in it. Don't know history of motor it is a 1969 340 . runs ok underload till about 3000/3500 starts to break up like it has a limiter on it. has new 600 carb not smoke. 4 speed. soft springs ? maybe try a electric full pump ? Thanks

    3500 RPM runs flat

At about 3500 my 340 ( in a 66 GT Dart ) seems to flaten out, have a Carter manual fuel pump, PSI at 6 drops to about 3-4 under power. Could it be weak valve springs or broken one. Have mix bag on electronic ignition, dist, coil and box not matched. any ideas ? Thanks

    66 dart gt

I agree no structural support. I will have to locate a shop that will be willing and able to do. Thanks for reply. Seems like dart parts start with 67 and up. I found very little for this situation. Perhaps sub frame connectors would also give good support.

    66 dart gt

Hello, need to solve an issue. Rear floor pans for this 66 dart. Can't locate anywhere. Has anyone solved this or have ideas--- for example fiberglass made inserts. This must be a issue with all the darts darting around in the country. Thanks for any help or ideas....
