Say you had the same 360 motor ,headers - 4 barrel- intake- cam- etc. One engine had stock compression like 8:5 , and the other had 10:5. How much of a hp difference do you think it would make.

If you had stock pistons in a 360, and you shaved the heads .020 and got a thin head gasket. Would it change the compression at all?

Thats sweet, there's something special about the old cars that are all original. Even if its dirty.
