Quick question, can you start car without instrument cluster being installed, if not what do you need to plug in. update: It wouldn't even crank so I guess I'll have to plug it in, really thought cluster had nothing to do with starting, I have the ammeter bypass in also

Someone else rebuilt. It shifts form 1 to 2 and stays there no matter how fast you go.

tried loosening cable, didn't seem to matter. It goes into 2nd around 15 but never wants to go to 3rd. I'm kinda agreeing it may be valve body. Thats a lot easier to change than trans.

Park and reverse work ok and 1 and 2 work manually so I would say yes

New trans, column shift, Lokar for kickdown.

Have a rebuilt 904 that doesn't want to shift to drive. Using a Lokar cable. Opened throttle all the way and pulled cable tight before locking down. So do I need to allow some slop in cable or am I screwed.

After some research I'm going to say tank is for 70-76 Dart or Duster. I had it in a 72 Dart

I believe Tanks inc made tank, I'm including the instructions which say CCP. WALBRO TCA910 fuel pump. Basically been on the road less than a couple of miles, mostly just run on stands.

Fuel injection ready gas tank. Has a few scratches from me taking in and out. Had problems getting pressure low enough to run carb. Has a low volume pump in it now, may not be enough for FI system. Has a new gas gage sender for a bodys, the one they included didn't seem to work. $225 shipped.

Yes on aftermarket radio but it is in glovebox, never touched radio harness.

Success, didn't have 12v at pin w on firewall. supplied 12v and now everything works.
