Wheel and tire fitment 65 Barracuda

Im Im a long time Mopar guy and hot rodder in general, but cant for the life of me figure out why so many try get the biggest tire/wheel possible under their cars- with the resulting rubbing issues. Most of our rides are not race cars so it should not be for the absolute best ET,, but I do...

    Mopar Gods forgiveness

PS: If you need to bend it some, the newer GREEN colored tubing is easier to bend- as it it does not KINK as easy. Yes, it can be tricky, but a cheap bender helps if you really need one.

Yes, thats how I did it. Some dont like splices. but I NEVER had an issue with one and a brake shop I talked with said he had installed hundreds over the years successfully. You can probably get a 12" splice/line kit at a local parts store. These are 2 I just see on Amazon- you would just cut...

'69 Bcuda 340 loses cam plug in rear of engine

they did the new converter with the car on the ground-so on their back- NO LIFT, and it seemed so logical that it was the main seal....and they didnt see it (gettin older).

'69 Bcuda 340 loses cam plug in rear of engine

The ring came off the flywheel on this 340/AT show quality car that is babied and never pushed. He replaced it and then it started leaking oil badly from the back of the engine- thought the rear main just decided to fail, but that DIDNT fix it either. This time a close inspection revealed that...

    Prebuilt portable garage shed?

If you want to save $, I did this one on the cheap: paid to have a pad poured, then bought the steel bldg- installed and paid extra for them to run the tin down both sides. I enclosed the ends myself using the same roofing tin. Not a carpenter but it worked- including an 8' car door plus a small...

    Prebuilt portable garage shed?

Put a vapor barrier UNDER anything you get! Heavy plastic........and then gravel around the drip line of the shed to keep the water from splashing up!

    Mopar Gods forgiveness

Im not sure, but I think you can install an aftermkt swaybar using the stock control arm- and they are easier to find (buy!). Another idea is to just weld a tab on your arm- I did this on a Barracuda myself...

Good luck on the brake line, sometimes they just dont come loose! Your idea of a line wrench is good, and maybe a lo power torch for some heat?

    Mopar Gods forgiveness

You can still find some 73 and up A body front discs.....and they will not break the bank, plus you can use factory parts that are well made and not terribly expensive. oppps...........just took a look, yes, even these are expensive now, at least on Ebay. Hoping you can find someone on the...

    Mopar Gods forgiveness

Bushings on the A arm suspension pieces are difficult to remove/install. I think you can get the tool that helps as a loaner at the parts house. I also would add front disc brakes- you can get them from 1973 and up older Mopars A bodies that work well- and add the safer dual reservoir master...

Neat car and neat story! Tell me how and where you found it after 10 yrs of looking. It didnt look too bad if it was in N Dakota all that time. As far as the paint.
