I have used both cast iron and aluminum flow kooler water pumps on a 318 stroker and never had an over heat problem always stay in the 180 range even in 90 degree parade
I had read somewhere, I just wish I could remember got CRS, that 403 was a medium stall but did not give anymore info
I have no ideal what medium stall is
Hi everyone
I have a 18 spline 904 TC recon with numbers 350 5 1 and 403 stamped on it (see pics) would like to know any and all info about it
Thanks in advance for your knowledge
This is a pic of the US MAG 15in sbp with a 255/60/15 M/T ET STREET S/S with only a 3in 6 leaf lift spring plenty of room between tire and spring iffy on fender lip this is on a 64cuda
Make sure your extension has the proper hole/holes in it. If you have a rear pump it will need a two hole extension. I know a 64 904 has a rear pump and should have two pickup holes in the extension
I went with vision 15x7 rims with a 0 offset and 4in back space with M/T 255/60/15 which are approximately 27in tall and 10in wide which has 1in between tire and spring and it's tight between tire and fender lip
I do have 6 leaf springs with a 3in lift and stock shackles and stock leaf spring...
Thanks toolmanmike I'm so close.
I just have not been able to find a 15/7 with at least a 4 plus backspace and 0 offset other than the Cragers without having a custom set made
I was hoping they would work I have M/T E/T Street S/S 255/60/15 on 15/7 US MAGS with 3.80 back space and -5 offset and have 1in from the tire to the spring but maybe 1/8 in clearance from tire to fender lip
Thanks 19DART66
Thanks TXOval for the info
Right now I mocked up a M/T 255/60/15 on a US mag 15/7 with a 5 on 4 bolt pattern with 3.80 back space and 5mm negative offset and have about 1/8in clearance between fattest part of the tire side wall and 1in between tire and spring everything is stock except for the...
It's not so much of wanting an 8in rim, it's what is available for me in a 5 on 4 bolt pattern. Found some 15in rims that size, wasn't looking to swap out axles at this time. Choices are getting harder every day with older vehicles lol
Just like me
