There goes the A body Market

Last offer I had on mine was back in like 2010 or so. If you could call someone yelling at me from across the parking lot an offer. Lol

    [SOLD] Model car kits

O and the boxes were just taking up room and would add extra cost in shipping because they take up so much room.

    [SOLD] Model car kits

Yes you got it. I stupidly took parts out years ago to do motor swaps and such. Over time some things got lost or misplaced. But there still mostly there and I got some parts back here they go. Was just going to throw them away but thought someone could use them for parts, or kitbashing or...

    [SOLD] Model car kits

Wife is having a baby and I need to make some room. Was going to trash these but thought maybe someone could use them for parts or kit bashing. Some are missing parts as I took them out to do motor swaps and such. I did my best to get them back but some are missing parts. Got two boxes...

    My model waiting list

Ya I wish I would have known kit prices were going to go through the roof. I sold a few hundred aircraft kits about ten years ago for next to nothing. Just kept a dozen or so I really wanted to build. I do have a bunch of car kits but all the parts are mixed up because I was planning to do...

The pages must be made of gold

This one? It’s pretty good to. Has the exact same pricing on the back.

here's one i hadnt seen before

Ya the wheel openings are going to be the tricky part. Front and back are hacked on the Petty Dart for the big tires. I had found an article online a long time ago where someone did the conversion. Will have to look for that to see what they did.

The pages must be made of gold

O wow. Thats crazy. I got a copy laying around. says 14.95 on the back. Even says 19.95 Canada. Lol

here's one i hadnt seen before

Petty Dart. Good to know they reissued it. Will have to pick one or two up for the 70 Dart parts and graft them onto a 68 or 69 kit. Think that is only one of two ways to build a 70 Dart unfortunately. mother is to get a resin aftermarket body and graft it onto a 68 or 69 kit. for...

    Duster to Demon

No sorry. I sold it about eight months ago. I deleted the build thread I had on here and did not think to save the photos Before doing it.

    Duster to Demon

I initially welded them on. Eventually I drilled out the bolt hole locations in the frame rails and used those slip on clips that have the female threads and bolted them on.

    68 twin turbo dart project.

I don’t know. Would think so but not sure. Not been in a long long time. I need to get out to the barn and work on my Dart. Wiring is in bad shape and needs completely gone through. Just need to find the time.

Anyone move drivers bucket seat back?

I'm 5'5". Could not understand why even with the bench seat in my Dart all the way forward and a pad behind my back I still could hardly reach the peddles. Turned out my moms 6'9" boyfriend who the car was handed down from had put blocks under the front seat tracks to give more head and leg...

    My plastic Air Force

That's awesome. Nice work on them. Never did get into figures or diorama work either but just love it.

    My plastic Air Force

I never did get into car models but have been building plastic scale aircraft models for a very long time. The fun is in the build. Then they just sit on a shelf and collect dust. But it is fun to show them off. Thought I would post up some of my builds here every now and then. First one...

Trying to find the nuts for the hood hinge

Ya I just go to the local hardware store and get them. Can't remember the price but pretty sure they are way less than a buck each.

    Walking your poop shooters....

Being up on the hills away from everything we don't do the leash thing. Just a standard collar we got her just for visiting my grandmother in Long Beach. 80 pound dog but very well behaved. Was suprised how well she did. Forgot the leash so my wife grabbed one of the horses lead ropes. That...

    340 supercharger.

You have a point I guess. Is to bad the old Mopars don't get much attention but we all know why. maybe not a good option but it is one. Pic I posted was for a sand rail application. Things like pulleys were a nightmare to get right and the plate they mount to had to be custom machined.
  22. Burntorange70

    340 supercharger.

You talking like a bolt on kit? I would think probably not.
  23. Burntorange70

    340 supercharger.

Whipplecharger. Don't know that the stock air cleaner would work but may be able to plumb something up. Or glue it on top for looks or something.

The 340 is the biggest POS V8 Chrysler ever made.

Car shows are ok. You do have to learn to just smile and nod. The whole time wondering why you paid money to sit on a folding chair and have people judge you and your ride. But then you get to drive home and remember what it is all about as you lay down a set of 11's and drive off into the...

    Gopher killing...

And there outbuildings too. Lol. Maybe a porch or two as well. Basically anything the gofer tunnels by or under gets blown ski hi. Including you if you are standing over the hole. Lol

    Gopher killing...

Never ending problem here. We don't like to poison either for a number of reasons but honestly it is the best way. I have a bunch of traps I set. Put two in one hole each way so no matter what way they come from you can get them.

    1971 Duster 340 4speed rear end gearing?

Don't quote me but I think they came standard with 3.23 gears. 3.55 or 3.91 being optional.

    James's 1970 Dodge Dart build.

Hey right on man. Good to see you are still at it. I been away quite some time too and have just started coming back around. Time to pull my finger out and get back on my Dart. Good luck with your projects man.

    GAS MILEAGE ....

Never really payed much attention to mpg. Got other vehicles for that. Lol. But I think 10-12. Fairly stock 340 4 speed Dart with 3.23 gears. Tires are a little on the short side. Think they are like 24". Would like to put some 26" on it to do a little better on the freeways.
