A friend gave me the 8.8 that I have for free. I just modified it by shortening it. It's a 3.73 gear with LSD and disc brakes already. I don't have to touch it at all, the internals look good. I could have ran it without shortening it, but the perches would have to be moved and the 1/4 lips...

I haven't ran it yet, but I put a Ford 8.8 under my Scamp. The long side axle was cut down to match the short side and a second short axle used. I think I ended up cutting out 2 3/4" if my memory is correct. With the spring inboarded, it bolted right up without having to move the perches.

Mopar King: My originally /6 car has Hooker 2" fenderwell headers, 440 engine on Schumaker conversion mounts and is nowhere near as close .

After working in the body business for a while, if at all possible... base/clear. If it's just a race car or street beater however, single stage it.

I like the "Muscle Car" and "Extreme 4x4" on the Powerblock shows and always like catching Gearz.

Besides my dad's side of the family being Dodge/Chrysler loyalists (not necessarily Mopar); one of my babysitters sons had a blue 1970-ish Roadrunner with a 440 in it that I fell in love with.

I'd like to get together with some other Mopar people in the Louisville area sometime. Perhaps a small meet up somewhere?

I'm in Louisville too, but don't make it out to Ohio Valley much. My Scamp isn't on the road yet.

HyperPak: I'm assuming that was 11.50's in the 1/4? If so, that's outstanding for a stock engine.

Doesn't sound like you're having much luck in the end there. At least it is coming along though.

I don't think sitting a motor plate in that gap would be fun either. I'd imagine that you could angle the top outwards, add like a 1/2" and bend it maybe 30* to guide the plate it. Car looks awesome as it sits though!

I received an email from Schumacher and he said they were for the AlterKtion K-frame. Does that sound right?

I thought they were SB-BB mounts, I was sure of it. If they are in fact /6 to SB, they're yours.

Can anyone tell me if these are 73+ /6 to SB mounts? All I can tell you is that they are NOT /6 to BB mounts, so they have to be either /6-SB or SB-BB.

Consider it sold, do you accept Paypal or prefer a MO? The reason I wanted a picture is because I was already supposedly sold /6-BB mounts once (used). I say supposedly because they aren't for /6-BB. I tried them and they don't fit and they don't look like yours.

Thanks, I was trying to search all of the craiglist ad's with 3rd party web sites. They missed that ad.

I bought a set of mounts off of a member here a while back. They were supposed to be /6 to big block, but they're not. I suspect they're a set of /6 to small block mounts. Anyway, I'm now needing a set of motor mounts to swap in my big block in place of the old /6.

Can you take a picture of notch and new sub-frame? I'm interested to see how it turned out.
