Redneck budget a-body rear end???

This is a swap that is gaining a popular following. Go for it, "Hot Rodders" use what they have on hand or by way of , free, cheap, trade.

I actually got an 8.8 rear, 3.73 gears w/ posi, for free. All I did was help a friend pick up a 69 Nova from BFE.

Free parts is always a "SCORE".... I thought about the explorer 8.8 but it's center section is so offset to one side I passed it by and just started measureing other rear ends I have, thinking back now I remember me an buddy putting 5-lug axles in a 7.5 mustang rear end, we just used the 2 short axles out of 2 ranger rear ends and the ranger 5-lug drums..
