I tried to start the car before I tore into the ignition and noticed smoke from around the carb. It was the thing that the choke thermostat plugs into. I unplugged it and car starts great.

I have a 1974 dart special edition 318. It had been covered up hiding in a garage for 32 years. I added the scoop, wing and wheels. I'm using it as my daily but having electrical issues now. Hopefully you guys can direct me to the proper section for my questions.
