It would have wound up in the trash, so I hope this helps keep the engine a little cleaner when adjusting valves. Even the cut piece makes a good cover;)

I had to unweld one of the pivot tabs, compressor was just a tad off. So, unweld, reweld a couple times, then I have a new adjustment are coming. But I can breathe now. If I can get the alternator in, get a carburetor, it shouldn't be long before I fire the engine, however going out of town...

Winding up easier than I thought fabricating the AC bracket, a few minor adjustments, weld it completely, make the adjustment rod, clean up the bracket, make it look like it belongs there;) and then order an Alternator of sorts, must be relatively small;) Hardest part was going through my drill...

Once I establish where I want the compressor, I'll just have to take critical measurements once the engine it back on the ERS (engine run stand) to start the mocking process. The rough location I have here is looking pretty good, I'll use the two lower old alternator bracket holes for the lower...

And also just arrived is my Mini me AC compressor, same one I have in my Triumph TR/mx, only this one it black, just have to make it fit, which I will;) I may or may not use the existing alternator bracket. Now for a small alternator for the other side of the engine~ this is fun!:lol:

Hey Glen;) I've ordered new engine mounts and a transmission mount. I guess I had ordered the wrong motor mounts a while back, hopefully the new ones may raise it a bit, I hope. this pic?

no, it went right in the hole, maybe some fine adjustments along the way, but I'm not putting those linkage retainers in until it's time, those things are a pain to remove.
