    Greasing A Manual Gearbox

I’d recommend John Deere corn head grease. We’ve been using that in early ford steering boxes for years. It flows very easily but won’t pass through the seals easily.

Power Torque clutch assembly from O'Reilly

I used one in my 39 ford, (has a maybe 300 horse 283 Chevy and 3 speed ford trans)as a quick replacement clutch to get me going to a show in NJ after having some pretty rough clutch problems on a trip from Virgina to Bonneville Salt flats in Utah, Had to pull the trans in the pits on the Salt at...

    Patch, or Replace inner fenders?

I have all the tools and know how to fab the patch panel up. I was just hoping that I could cut the needed section out of a 67 up since I’ve found a bunch of those. Looks like I’m getting the shot bag, hammers, and planishing hammer out.

I like the muscle, but who's got a custom?

I remember the Dawn Treader! I have been seriously considering doing a mild custom with the other 66 Barracuda i got when i picked up the white one I'm currently getting back together.

    Patch, or Replace inner fenders?

Dragging up and older thread so as not to start a new one….I need to patch the inner fenders on my 66 Barracuda. I have had a tough time so far finding decent rust free inner fenders in my neck of the woods for an early A body. I am very capable of doing a completely metal finished patch. My...

    1966 Barracuda door latch issue

I was able to get the latch free by going from inside the door and using a long flathead screw driver and a hammer to lightly tap on the rotary star to free it up. Soaked it with Gibbs penetrant and now it works perfect.

That's gonna be my last resort maneuver, but it had crossed my mind. I really don't want to pull this fender off though......

    1966 Barracuda door latch issue

So I have begun the cleanup on one of the 66 Barracudas I recently drug home. This car is over all really really solid. I got the outside cleaned up as good as I can for the moment, and I need to get to the inside. Unfortunately it seems the passangers side door latch seems to be seized up fro...
