Y'know, this is a pretty good question, as simple as meat on bread can be...me, I love a good cuban, nice roasted pork, good ham, swiss cheese, tangy mustard and pickles on a pressed, toasty cuban roll...so, what's everyone else dig?
My bid went through on ebay this morning...I'm now a motorhomeowner...now to just talk to my bank and make travel arrangements to pick it up. Either this is the coolest thing I've ever done, or the biggest mistake I'll ever make. Whatcha guys think?
So, it looks like I'll be spending another winter in Rochester, NY. The 2WD Ram 1500 doesn't like to do what the weather here often requires. But I found what might be a killer deal on craigslist. What do you guys think?

Just wondering...found this website that lets you record yourself singing, karaoke-style. Bear in mind this was using a laptop microphone, and I had no real idea how to use the site yet(still don't)...but how do I sound?

I've got one, and got the adapter to put it on my A-body, but it's got a busted latch spring...anyone know a reasonable method for getting the pins out of these to try and fix it? Also, if I can get it apart, I'd like to send it to Leanna for powder coating. Thanks in advance for any info.
Okay, here goes. I am selling these for a friend of mine whose marriage has hit the skids. She wants out, and would like to raise as much cash as quickly as possible to get out from under his thumb. So, I've got the following items listed on eBay for her:
1 three-stone diamond engagement...
Well, the dart is running. And with open headers, it doesn't sound like any six I've heard. I'll have pictures and video up later, as soon as I can get to a high-speed internet connection. Just gotta get the kickdown linkage and throttle hooked up. Hopefully the throttle will be done today.
Just wanted to get a few opinions on an idea that came to me a couple days ago. I've got a dual-snorkel scoop that I'm planning on putting on my 68 Dart, and was thinking that it would look really different if I were to mount a set of butterflies in the scoop opening that would be linked to the...
Hey guys, I know y'all like seeing A-Bodies on film. I rented "My Name Is Bruce", starring Bruce Campbell(as Bruce Campbell). And one of the main characters happens to be driving an early 70's Duster, which he uses to transport mr. Campbell in the trunk. If you like B-Movies w/ A-Bodies...
We've all been in a waiting room and seen those motivational posters that are at best amusing. Well, I found a link over the weekend that lets you make your own, w/ any uploaded image, your own title and caption

For starters, I've included one of...
Well, I got my carb pads from the machinist last night. After looking at them a while, I decided to just get them welded right to the intake to make things as sturdy and foolproof as possible. I dropped it off at the welder about an hour ago, and he said I should be able to pick it up...
Howdy everyone, I'm sure several of you have been keeping up with the saga of my 68 dart. It got out of the shop wednesday, and I'm getting the alignment tweaked today. Well, when I was getting it out of the shop, I noticed an original dual-snorkel scoop from a 70-72 A-Body, and talked him...
A modern day cowboy has spent many days crossing
the Texas plains without water. His horse has already
died of thirst...
He's crawling through the sand, certain that he has
breathed his last breath, when all of a sudden he
sees an object sticking out of the sand several yards
ahead of...
A successful rancher died and left everything to his devoted wife. She was a very good-looking woman and determined to keep the ranch, but knew very little about ranching, so she decided to place an ad in the newspaper for a ranch hand. Two cowboys applied for the job. One was gay and the other...
Well, I'm not sure exactly where things stand with my car right now. My mechanic told me it needed new brakes all around and a front suspension rebuild. Well, I ordered a PST Polygraphite front end kit, and decided to get the scarebird conversion. Well, he couldn't get one of the torsion bars...
My new intake showed up today UPS...and with the #6 intake runner broken off :(. Anyone know someone who can weld it up in the Rochester, NY area? Or have a suggestion how to fix it? It's a fairly clean break right at the end of the runner where it joins the plenum.
Anybody try google's new web browser yet? I downloaded it tonight, took about four minutes start to finish, and I'm impressed. It works a good bit faster than my IE, but I'd probably say that's due to a lack of 'extras'...hmmm, remove the unessential bits and it goes faster...just like...
I heard this on the radio today...
So, do you suppose when Hugh Hefner finally passes away, that someone will be foolish enough to say "He's in a better place now"
At the flea market yesterday, picked up a flip-top gas cap from a challenger...not an A-body part, but it definitely looks neater than a regular cap...the chrome's looking a bit spotty, and it needs a new spring for the latch...but I think it's a decent style upgrade for $10
Hey guys,
Some of us on slantsix.org are trying to get a group buy worked out with Offy for intakes, valve covers, etc...since they're one of the few people who do slant stuff. I know some of you guys are members on both boards, so head on over to...

These look interesting. They're not nearly as refined as a set of headers or dutra duals. I'd be a bit concerned that the 1-2-3 portion appears quite a...

Just ran across this over on slantsix.org, thought someone would...
Well, I've received most of the parts for my new intake setup. But now I'm wondering if I should just build a 225 to drop in, ready to go, or soup up the 170 that's in the car? The 225 route would allow me to make sure the bottom end of the engine is ready to last another lifetime, but I've...
Just wondering if anyone was interested in some wood pistol grips for their shifters. I'd like to try turning some out, if someone could get me a template of the shifter handle, as well as the top/bottom bezels, I could start seeing what I could do...
Yeah, I'm a craigslist junkie, too...not quite my thing, but this could be a great investment, or a lifetime of gifts for a few dozen mopar enthusiasts.
