    318 from Down Under

Thanks mate and having lots of fun so far! Getting it started yesterday brought a huge smile to my face which is what it's all about! Good to know - I'll probably take it for a drive for 30 mins and give it some load and changing RPM before intalling, I'm assuming it's best to keep it under...

I had to elongate the bolt holes on the intake slightly, but all lined up really nicely with the metal shim style gaskets - I was surprised and expected to have to do a lot more to get it to fit based on what I had read!

Update: The motor is back together and the cam is "run in" at least as per the instructions that came with the cam from Lunati. A quick video of the idle with the original 2 inch exhaust here: Anyone have any input as to when I can install the second set of valve springs? I've got a few...

I've had it on the scales and it was actually 3300lb with me in it and I'm around the 200lb mark most of the time lol I'll get it up and running and reach out to Greg at some point - still need to run the cam in and then finish up the...

Thank you - can't wait to get to the tuning part instead of the mental bench racing part... your videos have definitely been part of the learning curve :) Definitely cut down .100 thou and measured out at 52cc chambers - cost me MUCH less than pistons would have with the exchange rate, was...

    318 from Down Under

Hi All, First post here, been lurking/reading for the past few years. I've just completed a cam swap in my 318 and keen to get any insights/roasting by the 318 gods on what I have done, and what other things I should do. The reason I've kept the 318 is availability and costs in Australia...
