Awesome Shop!!!
I have one recommendation. If that heater you have mounted in the corner is vent less replace it ASAP with a vented unit heater or Rinnai vented wall heater. Those heaters are basically Humidifiers and will be introducing gallons of water to your tools and car on a daily basis...
Check out Engine Masters Season 5 Episode 26. They dyno test a 5.7 with the SRV locked in both positions.
I'll be real surprised if you don't modify your firewall to make your SRV functional after seeing the data.
TF360 Funny, I've had people ask me why I'm not putting a Hellcat motor in it. A 3000lb car with 500 hp is going to certainly challenge my driving skills.
The engine and trans are sold.
Most of the Major parts are sold but I'm going to keep this open until everything gets picked up.
After that I will list the small stuff I still have separately.
Thank You
I've had some real nice folks from the west coast interested in the engine and or trans. Does any one know an afordable way to ship an engine and trans coast to coast. Building a crate and shipping truck freight with lift gate service on at least one end is worth way more than the parts.
I still have the complete engine and transmission assembly, Carb to pan, motor mounts, manifolds, brackets, linkage, etc. The air cleaner, alternator, and shift linkage, not shown are also available, as well as the bare K frame. The control arms, spindles and brakes in the picture have been...
The 7 1/4 rear including springs, driveshaft, exhaust. front brakes including upper and lower control arms have been sold.
the balance is still available.
My plan was to do all of the metal work, installed the suspension, then measure for wheels. Thanks to you guys I'll modify this plan a bit. I'm not painting the car this time around. My dream is to do the power tour or similar events. this car has driver quality finish inside and out which is...
Thanks Guys feel a bunch better. I have a lift and the USCT cart. I'm sure I will need to take the engine and trans in and out multiple times while I figure out tunnel and firewall mods.
I'm installing a 6.4, TTI headers, and RMS suspension in my 69 Barracuda. I was hoping to drop the car over the suspension with engine (headers installed), and trans. I have one of the USCT k frame carts. The steering will be out. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance...
I'm building a 69 barracuda. 6.4 hemi, TTI headers, RMS suspension, 275-35r 18 front tires, wheels will need to be custom have not ordered them yet.
Has anyone run USCT Inner fender braces with large front tires? I haven't installed mine yet. I'm concerned with interference. Thanks
Thank you for the insight about the USCT inner fender braces. Im going to hold off installing mine until I sort out my tire sizing. You may have just saved me a headache and a bunch of work.
Actually a great value considering what it would cost, even if you used a 1/2 wore out junkyard motor and changed the intake, oil pan, cam, accessory drive etc etc...... Adds up crazy fast and you have less power, less reliability, no warranty..
Really Cool stuff Jonny. Thanks for giving Mopar guys another option. I'm building a 3G swapped A body with a stock 6.4. If I ever outgrow it this is definitely a great way to upgrade...
I don't think Cold Case is interested in catering FABO folks. I posted here and never received a reply. I had called them prior to posting here. My application is an a new build A body 6.4 hemi with Classic Air a/c. I wanted to stay with a 22in radiator if possible. Guy on the other end...
Was hoping for a little bit better support here. Cold case seems to have a nice product for a good price. I called them a few weeks ago. They were helpful as far as showing me how to navigate the website. I wasn't impressed with other aspects of the call. Looks like I'll be going with another...
I'm Installing a 6.4 Hemi factory crate engine in my 69 barracuda, with a Manual trans and classic air with a trinary switch. I'm looking for recommendations for a complete package, radiator, fan, relays etc. I see your relay kit includes a temp switch. Does that mount in the radiator or would i...
Sorry Mark But No....69 is my least favorite year, really wanted a 68 notch. I passed on one I shouldn't have, but this little car has really grown on me. Its far from perfect but completely rust free. Every one is going to have to wait for my estate sale to get this one...
Is it me or are these...
