    Having one of these cars myself I would highly recommend putting the master cylinder on rubber lines so it can be easily flipped out of the way.

    Worked on it off and on today. Got the crank in, Disassembled the pistons and rods, cleaned everything up and put them back together. The C clips on the CP pistons are a *****. Gapped the top rings. 2nd ring is bigger than I wanted out of the box. Debating on this one.

    One thing I should add to the thread as I did some intake work that really helped out the drivability and distribution on the bigger cube engine. Idle quality greatly improved. I believe it’s faster as well but I changed a few things so I can’t quantify a number.

    Being a hemi i would expect the power to peak somewhere at least in the mid to high 6k range. Dyno sheet looks like it was still going as well.

    Well, had the balance checked on the new crank. It was off. 20 grams on the front and 30 on the rear. It’s dialed in now and ready to go. Going to try and get it back together and in the car in a reasonable time frame.

    Torque storm is hardly a serious supercharger. And if it’s something that’s going to make real boost power a factory Chrysler block shouldn’t even be on the build sheet. IMO

    Everything looks pretty good. I was worried the mains might be screwed up from the balance issue but they look ok. Biggest decision I have is do I reuse the rings or put a new set in.
