    Aftermarket Windows

I've never asked them about custom glass, but, a local glass company made some glass for me a couple of times. It was just flat glass and laminated like windshield glass. A friend of mine had some curved tempered glass made once, but, it was EXPENSIVE. Apparently they have to first cut the raw...

    1969 Dodge Dart Ignition Assembly

Electrically, and plug pattern, they all work the same, not counting the ground terminal issue I mentioned. It's the way the switch is mounted into the dash. '60-67 have a small nub that fits a notch in the dash panel to keep the switch from spinning as you turn the key. '68 uses a slot. '69 is...

The only glass they have for a convertible is the windshield and vent glass since they're the same as other models. The door and quarter glass are convertible only and AFAIK not reproduced.

The windshield and vent glasses are the same as the coupe and fastback models (and some other models as well) The door glass and quarter glass are '67-9 Dart and Barracuda convertible only. A/c cars came standard with tinted glass, and non-A/c cars came standard with clear glass. They could be...

[WANTED] Wanted: Mopar A Body Super Stock Springs

The feedback I've gotten from friends and one restoration shop is that the MP springs in the past lost their arc after only a few years. Unless they've changed in the last couple of years, I'd avoid them.

    1969 Dodge Dart Ignition Assembly

'68 and '69, yes. '67 is the same as '65-6 and will also interchange with the '60-4 if the extra ground terminal on the '65-7 switch isn't needed.

[WANTED] Wanted: Mopar A Body Super Stock Springs

IMO, you'd be better off with using the ones from General Spring.

    3.31” Crankshafts

Both. Up to about the first of April they were forged. After that, cast.

    '66 Dart headlight buckets

Do both yours look identical? Maybe one bucket is off a different year and/or model?

    '66 Dart headlight buckets

The bucket (seat and shell) are the same for both sides (2290761 is the assembly). The only different one I know of is the export version for RH drive cars, but, I think it's mainly the bulb and maybe the seat where the bulb dimples are located.

    A-body 8-3/4 drums

All V8 A-bodies from '66 on came with 10" rear brakes. They were optional on 6cyl. cars and standard on disc brake cars.

    A-body 8-3/4 drums

'66 to '72, so 7 years used the same 10" brakes on both 7 1/4 and 8 3/4 rear ends. Even real late '65's had them.

    A-body 8-3/4 drums

The flanged 10" rear drums started in 1970, and were the same ones used on a 7 1/4 too. They interchange with the non-flanged ones used on the '69 and earlier cars. the flanged ones just had a bit more cooling capacity.

    Complete and utter disassembly

I did that several times. It took me about a week (a full 7 days) to do one car using a spot weld cutter (actually several of them). Start with all the unbolt parts. Then top to bottom as the car is on jack stands. Keep the drill speed low, drill bit sharp, and use plenty of cutting oil. I still...

I believe the brackets and pulleys are different too. Using the later ones along with what you have might do the trick.

    3.31” Crankshafts

'62 and later poly 318 cranks will work in an LA 273/318/340 engine. Just rebalance. Don't use the '61 and older as they have extended 8 bolt flanges. 273 cranks were forged from '64-7. '68-9 273 cranks were forged (and the same crank as a 318 those years) Adding Mallory Metal will depend on...

    3.31” Crankshafts

No 318's whether poly or LA had a small register for the converter. That was a '67 and earlier forged crank slant 6 and 273 thing only.

    273 Commando Rebuild Or Not?

The possible downside to running heavier valve springs is the extra wear on the cam and lifters. If it's just going to be a cruiser and not going to be revved way up, why do it? No upside IMO. The existing cam and lifters are used to those springs.

    Flexplate orientation/Transmission to engine mounting?

No, it looks to be a 360 converter. That will fit all V8' except the forged crank 273. He just needs to remove that pilot bushing.

    Flexplate orientation/Transmission to engine mounting?

As 66fs mentioned, it was the change made from a '67 273 forged crank to a '68 cast one. The transmission made the same change internally that year....across the board to all 904's and 727's both small block and big block versions. The slant 6 engine also made the same crank register diameter...

    273 Commando Rebuild Or Not?

The stock 273 valve springs are all the same....2bbl and 4bbl. 318's used the same springs too. When installing replacement springs and retainers, check the diameters too, as some will rub the stock adjustable rockers. That's where using some bee hives can be beneficial. As for spring tension...
