Door Lock Install

Everything looks so easy but if you have never done it before it's not. Thank God for this site and its members. Need a little guidance installing the door locks on my 69 Cuda. Can't seem to get that link rod into the hole on the lock tab.

I could be wrong but you need to disconnect the other end of that rod and then hook up the new key lock side then drop it in and reconnect the mechanism side.

Or, sometimes you can wangle it in as you poke the lock cylinder through the door skin.

You just have to mess with it until it wiggles in at the right angle. Just be patient. (when you do the other side there's no way you can recreate it)
