Those are nice but I was just educated that I need 70-71 only because I have the metal hinge covers and from what I’m told they only work with 1970-71 only.

That’s the one I just put on. How does the hinge mount and what moves the handle back and forth to open?

I have another handle I will put on it, just don’t see what is used to open and close it?

I guess someone already broke where it connects, see pic 1 can I drill and put a screw in the middle hole on the hinge and connect it that way? What opens and closes the door using the handle?
