I need a set of 1970/71 bucket seat backs (preferably black) in at least driver condition for my 1971 duster. Had a pair I thought I could clean up but after sanding they still look horrible to even paint.
*Also need couple odd and end things:
*Studs for a duel snorkel hood scoop
*Chrome Trim that goes right above interior door panels
* sail panels
*seat belts
*mopar dress up kit for 340 black or chrome
* light pull button for instrument cluster
Please pm me or text me at 12255732088

Have you tried adding texture, before paint, to fill in the low spots and give it a level base? You can create a decent look.

No I haven’t tried that yet. Thanks for the tip.

Just make sure your plastic is clean. Scrub it, then scrub it again, with soap and degreaser. I have used spray can bed liner and undercoating to add texture to some different things, and then painted over top. Just depends on the style of texture you want. That said, I've never done it on a plastic seat back before. Take pics and post the result, might help someone else out to see it done. Good luck.

I have these, new and never used. 71/2, they were made by Accuform for Year One about 10 years ago. No defects or damage on either one. Message if you’re interested.
