I have seen posts about changing the gas caps to a flip style, a more modern with a door, but I wondered if this would work. Remove the "handle" on the cap and add some finger grooves. Do you think there would be enough "leverage" to open the cap this way? I need to find a spare cap to try. :)...

Bought an 09 Ram Hemi last week and was reading the manual and it recommended 89 octane fuel but 87 was fine. We have ran 2 tanks of 87 octane through it with no issues, but what do you guys think?
