That's in part what I wanted to know. If using a set of 360 manifolds were close enough with lower cost. Thinking of buying 71 RR (no driveline) Want to install a 318/360. But did not know if I would need that special driver's side manifold to wrap around the steering shaft.

Were 340 and or 360 exhaust manifolds the same for all body lines A,B,C,E ? Anyone got pictures showing the differences ?(if there were any differences). Is there much difference between 340 and 360 manifolds ? just asking ?

I've got a crank from my 66 273. Can I install it into a 1984 318, without rebalancing the engine assy ? Any other things I should know ? What about reusing my 273 rods into the 318 ?

I've heard that before about reusing roller lifters. But was not sure that it could be done on a "new/reground" cam. Sure would save some $$

Thanks, now I understand needing custom pushrods, on a reground cam. And if I were to buy a new aftermarket/ or OEM replacement cam, the 6.764" pushrods would be fine.

Why would I need custom pushrods ? Just asking ,I would think that I would be able to use the 85-89 LA roller pushrods, from a Diplomat 6.764" length ?? Not sure about that. Also not sure if I would need solid pushrods, or the hallow pushrods ?

What would be a good Honest size 4brl carb to use on a 318 LA daily driver/cruiser. Without over carbing it, like most people do. No headers, auto/ 2.76-3.23 gears/ electronic Ign, 204 duration cam.

I think they look good for a stock wheel. Have not kept up with modern stuff to much.

What wheels are you using ??

It's not more than I can live with...I just should have used a a stock cam, think I would have be happier. Maybe when I get my carb dialed in better things may improve as far as idle smoothness.

The stock 71-74 mopar 360 2BRL cam 's spec are .. .410/.412 @252/256 so what would those durations be @ .050 ? also can THAT same came still be bought ? The specs changed in 75 to .410/.410@252/252 now this cam is still made by sealed power.

How much increase in oil pressure would I get by installing the mopar Hi pressure oil pump spring. I'm new to small blocks (have put washers behind the spring on BB) before. So how do you replace the spring (sounds stupid..but have never done this on a small block) right now I'm running about...
