    Jets

Dumb question: isn't there supposed to be two streams of gas in all carburetors? I have a hesitation problem and checked the accelerator pump. Only one jet was shooting fuel. I am guessing something got past the NEW fuel filter I installed. It is a Carter 2 bbl. I have never removed the jets...

    Fuel problem?

Did not think of that. Thanks. Changing them just moved up on the to-do list.

    Fuel problem?

Thanks!!!! That just means it can get better. I could not test drive it, so I was still not 100% confident. I will move the lines beforehand and post the results.

    Fuel problem?

I pulled the engine without the tranny, if anybody is wondering.

    Fuel problem?

That might have helped a little, but it was still stalling. What finally got it running correctly was a linkage adjustment. If you look at the first picture, the is a triangular shaped piece with three holes. It was in the middle to begin with. I moved it to the top position, and that did not...

    Fuel problem?

Been working on the idle screws and jets on the carb. I screwed the jet screws in all of the way and backed them off three half turns. I adjusted the idle screw to where it just touched the carb and screwed it in two complete turns. I can pump the accelerator and then start it, but then it...

    Fuel problem?

It is funny how you can see things better in a picture. I am going to go fix the hot coil wire that is exposed behind the connector.

    Fuel problem?

As of right now, the car will probably start right up, but I want to do anything I can to fix the problem before it warms up. After that it gets a little cranky--pun intended. Anyone have any ideas?

    Fuel problem?

When I got the car ten years ago, it had a few lines capped off. I am almost sure that is not how it came from the factory. But it ran fie, and I did not see a reason to fix it if it wasn't broke. Anyway here is a pic.

    Fuel problem?

BTW, I use clear lines to see the vacuum. LOL!!! But no, that is all I had on hand at the moment.

    Fuel problem?

My next question is about vacuum lines. I have two hooked up in the picture. Are they correct.

    Fuel problem?

Hey folks, I am having what I think is a fuel problem. I will do my best to describe the problem. This is my main focus for the next few days, so I can get pics, videos, and will buy the beer if you can stop by and help. We just dropped the motor back in, and it started right up. We let it warm...

    67 Dart OE carb problem

The carb is only being held down by one screw. I could not hold it down to take the video, so I inserted one screw in the front. I knew I would have to take it back off. Prob should put one in the back. Thanks for noticing. I don't wanna snap one off.

    67 Dart OE carb problem

Yes, the spring is there. I do not see how it can be installed incorrectly, but it is definitely there. I am going to go mess with it.

    67 Dart OE carb problem

I cannot figure out the "plunger" problem on my Carter carburetor. It is quite possible that I reconnected it incorrectly, but I cannot figure out how. There are two links to videos. The first shows the plunger working without the linkage hooked up. The second shows where the linkage does not...
