Been working on the idle screws and jets on the carb. I screwed the jet screws in all of the way and backed them off three half turns. I adjusted the idle screw to where it just touched the carb and screwed it in two complete turns. I can pump the accelerator and then start it, but then it...

It is funny how you can see things better in a picture. I am going to go fix the hot coil wire that is exposed behind the connector.

As of right now, the car will probably start right up, but I want to do anything I can to fix the problem before it warms up. After that it gets a little cranky--pun intended. Anyone have any ideas?

When I got the car ten years ago, it had a few lines capped off. I am almost sure that is not how it came from the factory. But it ran fie, and I did not see a reason to fix it if it wasn't broke. Anyway here is a pic.

BTW, I use clear lines to see the vacuum. LOL!!! But no, that is all I had on hand at the moment.

The carb is only being held down by one screw. I could not hold it down to take the video, so I inserted one screw in the front. I knew I would have to take it back off. Prob should put one in the back. Thanks for noticing. I don't wanna snap one off.
