    Power Valve Question - HELP

The power valve restrictor channel determines the amount of fuel enrichment. When the vacuum drops and overcomes the spring on the power valve It's the timing of when it happens. Check the engine with a vacuum gauge. It will determine the mechanical condition of the engine.

    NOS--should I??

Timing retarder a must. on WOT 28-30 degrees total timing. A NOS cheater that you can change jetting is a good thing. Cold spark plugs a must. No long bursts (over 10 seconds) I would run a 25 pound bottle so the fun don't end too soon.

    Demon vs Quick Fuel

Dyno testing with the Quick fuel has shown that they are one of the best.(Or Gary Williams)

    Demon vs Quick Fuel

Would only run a Quick fuel carb. The fuel curve is way better that those Barry Grant things anyway. (There also still in business unlike Barry Grant and his Demons)

    Do you like proform carbs???

Pro Form are good. Quick Fuel show better BSFC numbers on the dyno. I prefer Gary Williams for all out competition carbs.

my first carb rebuild, done, but adjustment question

Did not check the float LOL. I would put a vacuum gauge on the motor to make sure you don't have a bad intake valve though.
