    Can a carb be tuned with an A/F gauge

    i was gonna go that route but the a wideband is 300 bucks and out here a good dyno tune will run u 150 an hoirnwith max ofn2 hours and no headache on tuning..just take it to a goodmdyno shop and be done with it.

    well u need a dounble pumper is the way to go..i have a 4779 750 dp main body..u could go with a 850 base and buy good metering blocks and use the 870 for the rest of the parts i can throw in some parts too if u need them i will see u the main bidy if ur interested and fyi the 750 main with 850...

    if the holley is recently rebuilt then no need to worry ..first star with idle screws the need to be 1 and a half turn out only,then bring squirters bigger sizes 35,37,40 and be sure to buy hollow screw for 37 and up ..baseline jetting should be 73 front 82 rear and go from there after u run...

    i run 1 on my 408 your 650 will be plenty for the 318 but a little fyi if u get the proform body as soon as u get it out of the box take carb bolts and base screws and chase the threads and it goes together sooo so much easier..so many haters on the proform main body but its a good piece but...
