I'm looking to buy a complete 71 340 car I came across - can't get to the fender tag just yet. Did all the 71 340 cars come with the sharktooth grills and 2) did all 340 cars have the black hoods with the "340 wedge" decal ? If not - what codes am I looking for or can you direct me to a decoding...

Mine is a 70 Swinger, EK2 , no undercoating , no overspray (probably touched up at some point. I'm considering painting the underside - but I guess it won't be "correct" (not that that's a big concern right now - but the car is an original 340 , 4-spd car)

If a 1970 A body came without undercoating, would it be body color underneath ? Mine has no undercoating but appears to be painted black. I know some of the other bodies came painted undersides.

70 Swinger - were the blades 13" ?

If you want to spray an epoxy sealer over your surfacer (paint isn't going down for awhile) you can, and then 600 wet sand the sealer prior to shooting, I've done this as funds don't always allow jumping straight to the paint booth and you need to seal the surfacer as it can absorb...

I've done this quite a few times and if you don't have a sandblaster - it works every bit as good, just takes awhile longer and your best to wire wheel after to clean off residual. I use a battery charger but have noticed the leads get smokin' hot - what's up with that ?

I'll find a set - it's cruisin' weather so windows can stay down as long as I avoid rain. This track really helps guide the window at the right angle, without it I have to grab it and ease it into place when fully up and snug, probably can live without it for awhile .... Thanks.

I was sent the wrong rollers - nice try by a vendor. On my 73 Swinger ... I need the nylon roller (or assembly) that rides in the rearmost track - sits at a 45 and the roller is gone leaving the stud with the 3/8" or so steel ball - know what I mean ? Appears to me the roller itself may not be...

Your car - your color choice. A poll is just going to confuse you more (been there). Black or white interiors always leave you with unlimited choices. The main thing is a killer paint job - any of those colors will look good if the car is done right. Good paint and the right wheels make or break...

We got the back in - the front ain't so easy. We can set the glass into the bottom groove and get the gasket around the glass about half way up on each side, after that it's too tough. Gasket is set in place, using plenty of WD40 and plastic tool used for this purpose. Should we try using some...

I've got plenty of pics of silver A bodies - one of my favorite colors. My Dart was silver actually (first paint job) - the painter could not shoot silver and I re-prepped and went sublime shot by someone else! IF you consider silver - make certain your painter can handle it !
