    Post Pics of painted bumpers

Hi All, Who out there has painted instead of chrome bumpers on their A body? What did you go with? Body color, Black, Argent, something else? Lets see some options to chrome! Also how do you like it, was it a price or looks decision? Thanks Tim

What color to paint my dart?

I voted Green. It seems like all new cars are White or Silver or Black. I like to see some color out there. I am trying to decide on the color for the wagon too. White just bores me to death. My wife's Kia minivan is white, that is all I need to say about that.

    what welder for floorpans?

I know people here have discussed some of this before but some of the new epoxys are supposed to be good for body panels. Can you use it on a floor?

    curiosity made an argument!

Sorry, Gotta have a wagon. So it's Early A for me. I would love an Aussie 68 Valiant wagon though.

    Color ideas for the wagon

So this looks like the final decision. First thing I am going to do is hit the steelies with gloss black. Then get started on sanding and body work.

    Color ideas for the wagon

I like the woodgrain idea, not sure it will work with orange. All flat black with woodgrain strobe stripe could be cool. I never would have come up with that without all the input. I think I am leaning towards orange though maybe not the black hood. Does Challenger Gary make woodgrain stripes?

Does this look less like your car Mullinax?

    Color ideas for the wagon

Well with the door panels blue and the seats red I will have to change something. If I dye it all black I will have a lot more options.

    Color ideas for the wagon

This is closer too what had originally been talking about, but I think it means a black interior.

    Color ideas for the wagon

I do like the 2 tone, maybe orange/white sort of a Dreamsicle look. That would look best with white interior though, and I have kids.

    Color ideas for the wagon

Yeah I am leaning towards "Losing the Red" it seems like red interior only works with Black, White or Red paint. Is this sort of what you were thinking?

    Color ideas for the wagon

Yeah that was kind of the idea, not sure it was a good idea either. I do like the Scramblers though, and I almost got a 69 Rebel Machine as my first car, but ended up with a 68 Fury Wagon instead. That was in 85, and I still am a sucker for a nice wagon. (or not so nice in the current case)

Not sure about that Butterscotch interior. And as far as green goes I prefer J5. Like I said I like the high impact colors. It seems like every car on the road is either white, silver or black. Here is a pick I found of a yellow one. Cant see the interior color for sure though.

I thought of that when I first put in the seats. Even to the point of working it up in PhotoShop. But I am not so sure....

Sorry, but I love the long roof. I do like the look of the Valiant Utes though.

Does that look like b5 on the Challenger? I like that or maybe even darker. But that way I can keep the interior blue. Just change the seat covers or dye them.

    Color ideas for the wagon

Some one on here has a beautiful early Dart convertible in orange with black steelies, I can't seem to find pics. Here is a B wagon in High impact yellow. Looks good to me. Yellow looks good with a white interior, and I have kids, so I don't know about that.

    Color ideas for the wagon

That was my first thought, but it feels like it has been done. I don,t think I have ever seen an early A wagon in a high impact color.

    Color ideas for the wagon

The wagon has been running reliably for a few months now (knock on wood) I think it is time to start thinking about the cosmetics. It is white now with a blue interior, mostly blue any way, it has Red buckets out of a 65 Valiant convertible that were to good a deal to pass up. Also the inside...

    rust converter

I have some surface rust on the inside roof of the wagon, there is also old adhesive on there. Do I have to scrape/sand/grind all the grooves and under the braces, or can I convert it or seal it with por15 or something? Same thing under the hood.

The defecation-eating grin you get after you've sprayed color!

Looks Great! I also would like to know the color, would look good on the Wagon, I am so tired of white. (plus the wifes minivan is white)

    backfenderwells undercoated today! great product!

My wife got me a stereo for the Wagon for X-Mas. Kenwood with aux jack for the iPod, new 5x7 under the dash and 2 6x9s in the rear doors. There were holes in the doors from the PO otherwise I would have built a speaker box for the back of the wagon. Sounds good. The only issue is the window...

    Scratches on Windows... Updates

I just found rear windows for a 63 Dart wagon on craigs list. Should I get these now, or see if I can buff out the scrathes?

    Scratches on Windows... Updates

I need to try this on my 65 Dart Wagon. Apparently the PO pissed someone off and they scratched FU** onto the passenger far rear window. I assume that window is almost impossible to find, so this looks like my best option. (the car was so dirty when I bought it I did not see the scratches til I...
