    2-cable 904 trans swap

After an extended park in the driveway, the Valiant is getting a new 904 next week. With the new style slip yokes, how do i measure how much to have the driveshaft cut down? Is it a simple measurement from the rear-end u-joint to the new slip yoke u-joint? I will have my pushbutton selector...

    2-cable 904 trans swap

Would prefer to just swap it out with a new one (warranty). I've had a couple bad run-ins with rebuilds in the area, which is probably why my parking lock wont lock. So, if I get a new trans, why would my current converter not work? I think the motor is a 68 model.

    2-cable 904 trans swap

I have a 63 Plymouth Valiant with the original pushbutton 2-cable shifter on a 318/904LA.I have a few problems with the transmission: 1. Parking lock sprag is stuck in neutral. Even with the cable disconnected, the sprag is locked in. (wouldnt be bad if my e-brake worked) 2. The shifter cable...

    63 Valiant 4dr Window Seals

Does anyone know where to find the inner and outer window strip seals for a 63 Valiant 4-dr? The inner one should be some sort of felt lining and the outer one a rubber squeegee* type.

    63 Plymouth Valiant Pics

Unfortunately, the factory ones were dented and busted up really bad. As anyne who has looked for replacements or NOS, I didn't feel like dropping $600 on the lights and lens'. After putting them on, I kinda liked em. So a temporary fix became permanent. Not bad for 35 bucks at O'Reillys.

    63 Plymouth Valiant Pics

Funny you should ask. I just posted a thread yesterday about how to raise the rear to make those tires fit. But luckily, all I have to do is roll the fender lip. They are 195/55/15 on 15x7 Revs from JDWheels.com. Backspacing ended up at 2.75 with the wheel adapters. Not bad for $850...

What headers for s.b stroker in Early-A

Will these headers fit a 63 Valiant? I have spent alot of time and effort locating and ceramic coating a set of exhaust manifolds for my 318 to have the muffler man tell me that they wouldnt work. Need to find a set of fenderwell headers that'll work.

    Engine swap advice

I know its kinda late to post, but you can still use your pushbutton transmssion shifter with the 904 tranny bolted to your 318. BUT, you will have to swap all the internal parts of your /6 TF904 into a different case made for 64-66 v8 273/TF904 combos. This allows the use of the 2 cable shifter...
