    '65 Barracuda with a '71 340 needs a Radiator...

Sorry gang, it's been WAY too long since I've poked around this forum and had any amount of energy put into my 'ol gal Barracuda. I've been starting to get her back on the road and I'm trying to keep her cool. Forgive me because I've been out of the Mopar game for a while now (busy w/ house...

    3.0 engine swap

It's a transverse mounted motor, you'd be looking at basically %100 custom everything to get it mounted up, plus it's a terrifying complex and unreliable motor set up. I would say there are about a 1000 better and just as odd ball swaps one could do that would be more successful then the mitsu...

    '65 Barracuda wheels...

Opps, yeah the car has the big bolt pattern, so I've got some options. cragars and slots do look good but I think I want something a bit different.

    '65 Barracuda wheels...

So the 14" magnum 500's on my barracuda are kinda chewed up and rusty and the tires are dry rotted, so I'm looking for some wheels. I'm looking to do something a little different and I was looking at a set of the gray centered 15" AR Salt flat specials, or even a set of 15"-16" panasport rims...

Swapping parts from an F-body car

the 727 will fit, you might just have to take a hammer to some of the body seems to get it to fit,. Some car you need to, other's you don't. the rear should fit but check to make sure that it's the 8 3/4 and not the 8 1/4. they came stock with the 8 1/4.

Spitfire Headers - 1 Set ready to go!

I just got mine from Harold, in about a week. They look good and I had great communication with him the whole time. I'm %100 impressed and wouldn't hessitate to jump in and order again. If your stuck on 273 manifolds, give these a look.

    Formula S

in '66 you could get a tach without the Fomula S package but in '65 I think the tach was in the S only.

    Rears

Yes, and if you want to keep your stock bolt wheel bold pattern then you want a pre-'73 8 3/4. Oh, and please don't double post!

    65 GT Convertible 4 spd

In '65 those brakes would have been an option, a fairly rare one I think too. Can't wait for pics!

    61 Dodge Lancer 6 to ? conversion

I'd look for a cheap well tuned 318. Good jump in power and if tuned right should get better MPG then the tired old slant that was in it. So long as the gears are steep and motor can breath well I think that dollor for dollor that's the most cost effective swap...

    Living with a '66?

I used my '65 barracuda w/ a 10.5 comp 340 in it as a daily driver for a while and it's livible solong as you can pay for the gas. with 95 or 97 RON gas you should be fine, in Cali we can only get crappy 91 and I was able to run the 340 on it alright. As for parts alot of places like Napa...
