In working on the same build now bigdummy i havent ordered pistons yet but i have most all other parts to start the build but i just did a partial block fill on my block and plan on letting set for atleast 3 weeks

I might have to use a gasket but was hoping someone may have a cad drawing ive found a shop that will make some 1/2 thick flanges of mild steel for 90 bucks a pair which is by far the best price ive seen for a set on the net.

This is the race wieght of my 62 valiant with me in it im 175 pounds the car had a turbo slant six with 8.75,caltracs,frame tied,tubular front core support,disk brakes,and 8 gals of e85, no interior and a 6 point roll bar.

Ok basically I scored a set of Indy 440-1 heads and decided to build w new power plant of my valiant. Im building a 500 cid low deck storker motor topped with the indy heads and indy 400 4150 intake.
My plans are to convert the intake over to efi im in the process of sourcing the parts now and...

Yah Dennis I couldn't resist I drove the valiant into work today all though I'm working 7 am to 7 pm.. i'm working the winter bugs out but. I pulled a couple hole shots and ran the valiant thru some full boosted pulls at 15 psi last night the car is responding beautiful. This year if I can keep...
Well ladies and gentlemen I won't beable to make it to the track this week the car and trailer are all ready to go but it looks as if I'm going to have to work a 12 hour day on Saturday so I won't get out if work till 7 pm.

Well the 2014 race season is fastly approaching and here in Michigan some of the tracks were trying to open this weekend but the weather looks like it's going to push the opening at onedaga. back another weekend.
